What’s new? I’ve started walking around the house without a cane or other assistance on a full-time basis now. I’m walking (outside, with cane) about 1/2 to 3/4 miles every day. My goal is to also drive every day on a short errand so I build up my driving skills and strength. I expect to go back to the office next week, so I’ve got to get my strength up more than it is today.

My main complaint right now is getting rest. I’ve stopped taking pain pills and I’ve been having a hard time getting comfortable. I get up in the morning literally worn out from tossing and turning all night. I don’t want to start taking the pain pills again, but at the same time, I need some sleep! May try some Tylenol PM or something to see if that helps rather than go back to the narcotics.

The other main complaint is struggling through the insurance screw up where they’ve double-dipped me on my deductible. They’ve approached the resolution in a very random manner, making it hard to determine if any given claim is actually correct. Onward and upward on this one. I have some people working on my behalf, and if that doesn’t work, there’s always the state consumer insurance protection agency. I’m plugging their number into my speed dial even as we speak.

There’s not a lot to report, but I have built a page of FAQs that has, in one place, the answers to the top several questions I get asked. Just click the link at the top of the page.

Thanks for the continued interest and support.
