Back from the Thanksgiving trip. Wonderful to have the break, but I think I’ve left my brain somewhere over the Atlantic. I can’t figure out what time zone I’m in. I pulled an all-nighter at work the night before we left (got home from work at 6:00 am, then had to get up at 10:00 am to pack and catch the plane). Just got acclimated to London time when it was time to come back.
Terrific trip, but going to London sure isn’t like being on the beach in Jamaica. Lots and lots of walking and stairs and more walking and cold weather — none of which my joints liked, but who asked them anyway. Overall a really nice time.
Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s great to be back.
Thanks for checking in.
So glad you enjoyed your visit to London, Carla. I’ll be honest: After having flown to GB and Europe, and back again, a couple of times, I can’t imagine recovering from the time-zone change fast enough to enjoy a week before having to come back. I mean, I’d enjoy it, I’m sure, but would I remember any of it? Heh… likely not. Well, you’re a far more seasoned traveler than I. I’d have loved to be there with you, drowsy but willing to do all that walking and climbing and sightseeing.
Welcome home. Be sure to rest a little when you can.
Welcome back.
