Sorry I haven’t posted for a while. These 70+-hour work weeks don’t leave a lot of time for anything else.

I got one big project finished up this weekend, but it was a tough, tough weekend. I came to work at 7:00 am Saturday, left at 3:00 am Sunday. I went home, got a couple of hours of sleep and a shower and was back at work four hours later.

I got to sleep late on Monday because I had my rheumatologist’s appointment. We talked about all those things I’ve been posting about here. We agree that the Enbrel is helping and don’t want to switch that, but that I need something a bit more. She suggested 2 Tramadol a day, but Tramadol tends to make me a bit foggy. So I’m [temporarily] back on Celebrex — after I worked so hard to get off of it. At least the Celebrex does more than just mask the pain — it actually helps reduce the inflammation. We’ll see. I’m not going to be on it long before I have to stop taking it for my next shoulder surgery in three weeks.

What it will do, however, is make my upcoming London trip less of a challenge. In one week and one day I’m leaving all this work and associated aggravation behind me for a full week of lollygagging around London. I am so ready.

In the meantime, however, I have to get one more project done before I leave and another one substantially completed so I can finish it up when I get back. So, I may not be posting much between now and then.

Hope your weeks and days are filled with anticipation of good things to come as well.

Thanks for checking in.
